Smiths "Add up the Savings" Promo

Since Albertson's has been gone, last fall, I have had a hard time getting into couponing. According to me, not my husband, my cereal supply is depleting. So this weeks Smith's add looked pretty good to me. This is not the best price on cereal I have seen, but pretty good. One thing I liked about this sale is that I was able to print a lot of coupons, so for those that do not take the paper, you can still get some great deals. For the Promo you do need to buy in increments of 8, it will take off $4, but you can do as many as you want in one transaction. Here is what I got:

GM Cereals $1.98/$1.48 use $1/2 coupon final cost $.98 (Cost/After $4 promo when you buy 8) These where the smaller boxes 8.9-12 oz Cheerios, Trix, Golden Grahams, Whole Grain Total, Cocoa Puffs (I did find some $.55 coupons for Trix and Cocoa Puffs.)

GM Cereals $3.49/$2.99 use $1/2 coupon final cost $2.49. These are the bigger boxes 16.2-25.5 oz Multi Grain Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms (there may have been more, but this is what I remember. I also found some bigger coupons like $.75 for Multi Grain Cheerios.)

Trix Yoplait Yogurt 6 Pack $2.08/$1.58 use coupon $.75/2 final cost $1.21. They also had the gogurts for like $.20 more. My kids love these yogurts because they do not have any chunks of fruit in them.

Also not part of the promo I bought Hefty's zip lock bags. These where $10/10, but you do not have to buy 10 to get the $1 price. You do not even need a coupon on this one to get a good deal.

I found most of my coupons at coupons.com and bettycrocker.com. You may need to sign into these sights to get their coupons. (If the right ones are not coming up, try putting in your zip code.) You should be able to print two of each coupon, per site, per computer.

This is the second week of this sale and will continue to Tuesday 8/24. Check out PYP for all of the deals and coupons.
